About FOOTOOB

Sport is an opportunity in Brazil for all people but specially for the poor people that leads to a better quality of life with respect to health, welfare, social inclusion, and citizenship. It is, perhaps, the only exit and chance of hope for many in this lower economic class. Sport promotes social and family union, and is also proven to save the State money with respect to health problems, controlling crime and violence. The anthropologist Roberto DaMotta said, "one of the most impressive things in practicing sports is that you can learn to lose, and what it means to learn to accept rules". It promotes growth in citizens that can be vital in helping stimulate and develop the capable to develop the countries where they reside.

Within this context we created FOOTOOB, a football promotion initiative involving every social class, with a pioneering and innovative layout, taking advantage of the digital revolution with aims of becoming a global business. The business model will create a platform for thousands of young people to fulfill their dreams and to feed their hopes of a better future and more enriched lives. Our goals include a path to open the way for those without the minimum fundamental economic base, but who still know what they want and dream of better days for their families. We also wish to spread our values by preaching football humanization, valuing the welfare on and off football fields and equality among every football fan.
